                                     WELCOME TO MY PHOTO GALLERY

Jimmy was playing an exhibition match with Ali Carter at Ali`s club in Chelmsford on December 28th, so I went along to support them.

Jimmy and I went to see the soldiers at Headley Court in Epsom. It was part of The Sun newspaper`s support for the charity `Help a Hero`. The guys and girls of our forces, along with the doctors and support workers were over the moon. We also had some Page 3 girls with us. Jimmy, Ronnie Wood and myself are going back in March to play the soldiers at pool in the NAFFI.

Here I am in Dublin with Tommy McCarthy the one armed snooker player. Tommy has a mention in my new book out in April 2010. He is friends with Alex Higgins and many other big names in snooker.

With Terry Stone (Doghouse, Jack Said and Rise of the Foot Soldier) and Sienna Taylor at the launch of The Film-Suite.com in Soho.

In the Morgan Hotel in Dublin in May. I was with L-R Stacey Rock the daughter of Irish legendary singer Dickie Rock, and Vicky Burke from the Irish soap `Fair City`. Jessica Taylor was also there at the party. We all went to Lillies Bordello afterwards and had some champagne. I was in Dublin promoting the Lipsy London shop launch at the Dundrum centre with Jessica and a host of stars from Fair City. I was also on Ireland AM with Stacey promoting her new acting career, and the book I am helping her to write.

I went along to see my mate Jimmy White doing his scenes for the film `Jack Said`. We all had a brilliant day at the Romford Snooker Hall where Steve Davis was discovered. Here I am with L-R Simon Phillips (Jack), Jimmy and Kevin Kelly who is Jimmy`s manager. I persuaded Producer Toby Meredith and Simon to give Jimmy the part of Vic Lee, who is a dodgy snooker club owner. Vic loses his fingers when.........well you`ll have to see the movie at a cinema near you in November or get it on DVD to find out why and how. The Jimmy White fingers are currently for sale on Ebay!!!

I have now done 3 scenes on the film Jack Said, here I am L-R with `Jack` played by Simon Philips, `Felix` played by Gerard Hutch and C-A-B officer Francis played by Francis O`Reilly, both Francis and Gerard like me are from Dublin. We had a great day and are all looking forward to the premiere in November. The film has a 132 cinema release. I play Detective Edwards who is the police handler of under cover cop `Jack`.

I was filming on Jack Said in Canary Wharf London. When I arrived I saw Big Joe Egan acting out his scene. I have met Joe before and he is a lovely man, very funny and with a heart the size of a lions. He is from Rings End in Dublin and I am from across the river in Ballybough. Joe plays a heavy who threatens our hero `Jack`.

I had met Mike Read many times when he was a member of our sports club in Braintree. Then on the set of Jack Said I met his son Jimmy, and his agent David Hahn. Jimmy played the Governor`s driver, the part his dad made famous in the film Jack Says. From R-L is David, me and Jimmy. We had some laughs and I am looking forward to the premiere.

I hadn`t seen Terry Stone for years, and there he was on the set of Jack Said. We chatted and are doing a project or two this year and next. That networking lark pays off sometimes. You can see Terry in `Rise of the Foot soldiers` out now on DVD.

Here I am on the set of `Jack Said` with Danny Dyer who plays Nathan. I am playing the part of D.I. Edwards. I have to say Danny should be called `Danny Diamond` as thats what he is a real `Diamond Geezer`. Everyone really enjoyed working with him, especially Mikey Carroll who I got a part in the film, playing a villian.

In Dublin with Gerard Hutch aka `THE MONK`. We were doing a photoshoot for the Irish Sun about Gerard`s part in the film I am starring in `JACK SAID`. I met Gerard through a mutual friend Tom McCarthy who helped me with research when I was writing the Alex Higgins book.

Jimmy White was playing an exhibition match with Steve Davis in Colchester, as I live nearby I popped over to have a drink with Jimmy and Kevin. I met Steve and he was very funny, a nice guy.

With novelist Maeve Binchy in Killiney near Dublin Aug 2008

Our daughter Lianne was awarded her B.A. degree at Essex University

In Cocoon in Dublin, one of my favourite places, we met and were entertained by Illusionist David Knight. He was brilliant and we still can`t figure out how he does it! anyway, if you would like to know more about David or book him, then see his web site at; www.illusionevolved.com

In the Cafe en Seine pub in Dublin with Ann and John. We had a great long week end in April. Lesley is taking the picture.

Having a drink and a chat about films with film star Frank Harper.

Discussing his latest book with Freddie Foreman, it is called `Brown Bread Fred` and is an excellent read.

This is `Big Joe Egan` a fellow Dubliner and famous sparring partner to many world champions. Mike Tyson launched Joe`s book at Canary Wharf and dubbed him `The most dangerous white man on the planet`.

In Liverpool for Fashion Week in March 2008. At the Lipsy London party we bumped into the `Corrie` girls, who we met earlier in the Hard Days Night hotel. On the left is Lucy Evans (Lauren) and Emma Edmondson (Mel). A nicer bunch of girls you couldn`t wish to meet.

Left is Natalie, then Jadene wife of Marc Bircham The Yeovil footballer. On our way to the Lipsy Fashion show after-party.

This is my journalist friend Domanik and I with the WAGs we went out with during Fashion Week. We had a blinding night out with these ladies.

X-Factor`s Ray Quinn was at the Lipsy Fashion show and we chatted about going to Cannes and films in general, nice guy.

Lesley had a photoshoot in London`s Covent Garden.

In Portland Oregon U.S.A. on the Lewis and Clarke trail. They were famous cartographers who mapped out the way west for the pioneers. I was visiting my friend Bonnie who was living there at the time.

"Life is like a box of chocolates" said Forrest Gump when we met in Monterey California. I was on day trip with my friend Bonnie Hale who I stay with when I am in C.A. The famous John Steinbeck novel `Cannery Row` was based here in Monterey.

I just loved my day in Monterey look at the Pacific Ocean behind me, they`re are Seals on the rocks and Porpoises and Dolphins playing near the shore, just magic!

A view of the Pacific Ocean from the pier I am standing on, the Seals on the rock are eating huge shellfish. I wish I could live there all the time.

I thought I might practice for that Knighthood I am expecting, so I asked The Queen and she graciously agreed to rehearse with me. Nice lady.

This is the famous Uri Geller car, it has hundreds of spoons and forks on it, many given and signed by famous people such as Mohammad Ali.

My son Karl, and his wife Bethan came to see Uri at his lovely house. Uri even bent some spoons for us.

This is a Savoy Hotel spoon that Uri bent and signed for me personally.

I met Ben Shepherd in London on a pilot show. Nice man and just like his T.V. persona, witty and friendly. We chatted about some mutual friends.

In London with the former U.S. Senator Linda Binder.

On a trip to Amsterdam in August 2007 we went on one of the boats you can see here, it was a brilliant trip for me. I lived in a town 20 miles from Amsterdam in 1974-5 and used to spend a lot of time in Amsterdam. It was strange to see that some of my old haunts were still unchanged. My Dutch is a bit rusty, but I got by, the Dutch speak fantastic English anyway.

While we were in Amsterdam, John told me that the words SEX SHOP were Dutch for SWEET SHOP......Honest!

On our trip to Amsterdam in August 2007 we had a nice Chinese meal on the floating restaurant on the Amstel, we went with our friends Maggie and John.

Lesley and I went out in the Bentley for a pic-nic at a medieval castle.

With Mick Brown in the studio of the breakfast show, I am the `Voice of London` and I do a a few spots every Wednesday and Friday about London`s history and whats on the week end.

Here I am in St Louis Missouri U.S.A. in May 2007.

Outside the Macy`s store near the hotel in St Louis.

The Baseball game that I went to in St.Louis, was the Cardinels vs Washington, it ended up being a `wash-out` when the heavens opened. It was an interesting experience.

Our friend Raina came to London from L.A. for a photo shoot, so my wife Lesley and I took her out for the day. Here we are in Trafalgar Square. Raina is a hair-stylist and make-up artist to the stars.

I bumped into Steve McFadden in a club in April 2007 . Steve plays Phil Mitchell in Eastenders and is nothing like his telly persona. We talked about the show, the Walford Gazette (of which I gave him 2 copies) and our mutual friend Dave Courtney.

I was chilling out in Dublin with my mate Ciaran, at my favourite watering hole `Lillies Bordello`. I was introduced to the lovely Sorcha Furlong who is one of the stars of the Dublin based soap, Fair City. I started my acting career as an extra on the soap in 1998, so it was nice to meet some of the cast at their party in the club. Fair City is Dublin`s equivalent of Eastenders.

Ciaran leave that girl alone! Tom who is pictured here with Ciaran introduced us to Sorcha, he is a nice fella who I will certainly go drinking with again.

Here I am out with two of my favourite party animals, composer,singer-songwriter Linsey Morgan (left), and my other friend Karen Henthorn. Ex-Eastender Karen has  been in `The Booze Cruise`, Heartbeat and `Corrie`as the ex-wife of Jerry, who owns the Kebab shop.

Michelle Collins is really fun to be out with, Michelle dropped into our club one night and we had a great evening.

In Cannes 2001 with the Big Breakfast crew. I said to Mike McClean "I could do that", so he let me.

Samantha Janus and Maureen Lipman were very cold the day we filmed `Lighthouse Hill`, so we got them both hot water bottles.

Malandra Burrows dropped into our club one night, Mal was still in Emmerdale at the time, it was in 1994. Mal is still as stunning today, and has been on ,`I`m a celebrity, get me out of here`.

In New York with Michael Greco doing a show for American T.V. in New York in 2002. I had just started my chemo and was quite ill for the trip, but Michael looked after me.

Daughter  Lianne and Wife Lesley are in a party mood.

Wayne is Lianne`s boyfriend and Beth is now our Daughter-In-Law.

Our very good friends, a great Irish couple, Maggie and John from Braintree. We go away with them for short European breaks.

Jimmy White invited me to lunch at his house, we chatted about the Higgins book and exchanged our mutual biographies. What a nice, down to earth guy and a real pleasure to meet. I also met his manager Kevin Kelly, we exchanged a few stories about mutual friends, what a small world we live in when so many people know each other.

This is me, Gerrard and Ciaran 2 of my best mates in Dublin. I am teaching them both how to "Rock" as they have both led very quiet lives.........NOT.

I took my grandson Rhys to the "Only Fools and Horses" convention in Colchester and he persuaded me to buy this van from a very dodgy man called Del Boy, well I did already have the coat to be a Spiv!!!!!!!

I met Paul Barber who played Denzil in "Only Fools and Horses" at the funeral of our mutual friend Ross Davidson. Then I bumped into Paul at the "Only Fools and Horses" convention, he is very humurous and great company, Paul also starred in "The Full Monty".

In Dublin with snooker player Ken Doherty, now ranked no.1. A really nice guy with a wicked sense of humour.

I went to see Faithless in Dublin on Thursday night 17th Aug 2006. I am here with (from l-r) Werner and Ciaran also with Gerrard who took picture. It was fantastic being a teenager again doing an outside concert and dancing to the music like my daughter would..........

When I met Alex Higgins in Belfast in June 2006  to discuss the book out on May 31st 2007. Which I have now written for Alex, it was launched in April 2007 and was a best selling biography.

Being interviewed in the U.K. for Hollywood True Story about my book; "Careful What You Wish For".

My grandson Rhys came to stay for a few days, he now lives in Tenerife and speaks almost fluent Spanish...."Hasta la Vista Baby...I`ll be back" he said as he left, then he "Terminated" his visit.....strange boy!

On the set of `Midsomer Murders` with John Nettles. I played a waiter in that one. I met John in the queue for breakfast at 6.30am, it was a very cold February day.
